100th Post!

Yes! I’ve finally reached 100 posts and what a better time than now because I’m going to Orlando tomorrow. You’re probably saying so what? Well, I decided to do a top 20 favorite Orlando rides list when I get back. Before I go I’d thought I tell you a funny story that happened to me in Orlando. Click read more to read it.

I used to be afraid of loop de loop roller coasters. Something about being upside down like that made me uncomfortable, so whenever we got in line for one of them I would just stand by while the rest of the family rode. That however changed in 2008 when my family went to Bullwinkles. One of the things to do there was one of those simulator rides where you can create your own track. My Mom and I got in line and when I got to where I can choose the track I tried to choose any track that did not have any loop de loops. I thought I chose non loop de loops parts unfortunately I was wrong. The tracks I chose has loop de loops so that was my first experience on a loop de loop ride.

Before I get to what this has to do with Orlando I should tell you that at that point I had braces, just remember this because this will come up later. Later that year we went to Orlando. On the morning we went to Disney’s Hollywood Studios Mom told me that the first rides we were going to ride were Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (another ride I was afraid of). So we got there and walked straight to Rock n Roller Coaster. Now this is where the story gets fun. The next day we went to Universal Orlando. Remember when I said I had braces? Well, when we rode The Incredible Hulk ride a hat that somebody sitting in front of us wore flew off the person’s head and got stuck on my braces. It was the weirdest thing that ever happened to me in any amusement park. We gave the hat back but I got to keep the memory.

I’m no longer afraid of loop de loop roller coaster and I’ll never forget that moment. What did you think of my story? Has something similar happened to you? Leave a comment and tell me.
